Named after the founder of the UK Police Force, the new apartment complex didn’t always have modern at its core. Previously housing Shirley Police Station, the building has undergone a complete redevelopment. Reinventing its identity, the 32 luxury apartments required just that: luxury. Located in one of the midlands most desirable locations, The Residence Collection windows were made by Listers Central Ltd and installed by Bradley Scott Windows where the site came to completion in 2022. Completing the development’s luxurious, sleek design, 97  x R7 windows were installed in the colour No.38 Grey, in addition to 18 sets of French doors with Juliet balconies and trickle vents. The result? A contemporary polished design where the outside meets the spec of the interior; penthouse suites, open living spaces, and balcony access. R7 in No.38 Grey was chosen to give a fresh and modern look externally and internally for a clean finish. The project was specified with an alternative product, but the architect switched to R7 because of the mechanical joints, colour and its modern appearance.

Andy Farrington at Bradley Scott Windows said: “It was a pleasure to create and install The Residence Collection window and doors at Sir Robert Peel Court in Shirley. The Residence Collection products always work wonders to transform the exterior of a property and they certainly didn’t fall short of success in this instance. Completing the luxury apartment development with a modern, sleek design, The Residence Collection windows excellent thermal performance making the apartments much more energy efficient.”
